Edo meaning 'here'
Meet Edo – an app created for tourists and travellers in search of cuisines of the lands. This application lets you know the cuisine delights of areas and futhermore lets you know where to find them.
Food tourism
Travelling for a taste of place in order to get a sense of place. Furthermore, it promotes destination marketing and is a new global trend.
Why the interest?
Users requires something that combines the location of local hygienic delicacies along with the reviews of foodies and chefs alike. Visual aesthetics to bring people in also goes a long way.

Iconography
The application required the creation of unique icons to be placed. Here’s a set of icons that modified itself from sketch to digital icons.

Slide 1 stays on screen until the app completely starts. You can sign in right after.
The Homepage
Starts with information on current location and the delicacy of the area. Images to support the information is also available.

Click on any image and it takes you ahead to describe more about the dish. Feel free to download it.
Go ahead and click food spots. It takes you ahead to the locations around you where you can find it.
Scroll down and you can find posts of that food item in any area. You can also see the foodies and chefs reviews on that food item in that location.
Chef’s word
Dedicated to the culinary professionals. This platform speaks out the voices of the chefs though their work. It makes known what they are doing and what they will be doing.

This page is where one generally posts about the foods in the places they have been.
Again click on one – go to info about food – download the item if you wish.
